Lin Sell
About the Artist
Lin Sell is an established artist/designer who uses nature and natural objects as
her focal point in her creations which include Mixed Media,Paintings and
Photography.
Lin has a B.S. and M.A. in Art, Drawing & Design from Western Michigan
University, has studied Printmaking & Design at Wright State University and
at Arrowmont/University of Tennessee. Lin also hold an Educational Specialist
Degree from the Univesity of Dayton in administrative leadership.
Lin’s talents include the ability to see the beauty in nature and enhance the image by incorporating printmaking, mixed media, and painting into her compositions with stunning as well as subtle and elegant results.
The artist has also painted simple shorecapes that originate from her time spent at the west coast beaches of Florida and the lakes of Michigan. Her photographs are another medium that she uses to capture the beauty of nature. Many of her unique creations are in private collections in Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Colorado, Maryland, Illinois, South Carolina and Califorina.
Lin Sell is a sustaining member of the Dayton Art Institute, a charter member of
the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Tipp City Area Arts Council.
A percentage of the proceeds from sale of her works is contributed to the Nature Conservacy.
Lin’s compositions, paintings and photographs will enhance any home or office.
The art pieces are reasonably priced and work with contemporary or traditional decor.
