Arts Council activities abound throughout the year! Here are just some of them…

Visual Arts

We work closely with area art galleries and artists to sponsor fine art shows, classes, and contests.

• ARTStravaganza!
• Chalk drawing contest
• Art for the Heart Exhibit and Sale
• Student Photography classes
• Trashasaurus – students work with the council to create a 3 dimensional “dinosaur” made entirely of recycled materials – for recycling education as well as creative expression.
• Arts in the Park for Kids

Literary Arts

The Arts Council sponsors both Poetry and Short Story Contests every year for aspiring authors of all ages. Poetry readings and a Poetry Jam provide a dynamic, fun format for writers to share their work.

Performing Arts

The exceptionally talented members of the Tipp City Players perform plays throughout the year, while our annual Canal Music Fest invites listeners to enjoy live music under the Grand trees of Tipp City. And don’t forget about the Plein Air Paint Out on the streets of Tipp City each Spring that lets Tipp City neighbors see artists in action.
